Title says it all. As of right now, there are only 4 outpost designs, 1 for each race. It kind of gets boring looking at the same model. You'd think there'd be more designs considering the amount of designs there are for the 4 race's stations. My proposal is for CCP to have more outpost models for alliances.
Pros:
- Less repetitiveness of outposts
- Variety is good
- Realism - You have all these empire station designs, and only 1 outpost design per race?
Cons:
- Takes time away from modeling team which could be working on other things
- It's not a necessity

Make them from modules.. the more modules the more variants.. I hate static content.

Another fly they could catch with this would be stations with different population counts (Jita vs backwater NPC station). You should see that there is a difference from a station that is having a flow of 4k pilots per day vs a station that only has 10.
Modular outposts, that would be great. Although it should take a while before the module is connected and put online. As for amount of traffic affecting the appearance of the station, that is an interesting idea. I would like that as well, although not as much as the actual designs (models).
